To provide a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and staff during overnight hours. The Night Concierge is responsible for monitoring the premises, responding to guest needs, and supporting the smooth running of the site during the night.
Main Responsibilities
Security & Safety
- Monitor the site overnight, ensuring all areas are secure.
- Conduct regular patrols of buildings and grounds.
- Respond to alarms, incidents, or emergencies promptly and appropriately.
- Report any maintenance, safety, or security issues to management.
Guest Support
- Be available to respond to resident or visitor needs during overnight hours.
- Assist with enquiries, check-ins, or any issues that arise.
- Ensure the reception or lobby area is tidy and welcoming at all times.
Administration & Communication
- Maintain accurate records of overnight activities, incidents, and visitor logs.
- Liaise with daytime staff to report any issues or follow-ups required.
- Support general administrative tasks as needed.
Teamwork & Professionalism
- Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues and management.
- Attend training sessions and team meetings as required.
Health & Safety
- Follow all health, safety, and emergency procedures.
- Ensure compliance with site policies and procedures.
- Take responsibility for personal safety and the safety of residents and staff.
Person Specification
Essential
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently overnight.
- Good observational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to respond calmly and effectively in emergencies.
- Comfortable with patrolling premises and handling security responsibilities.
Desirable
- SIA Licensed
