Inbound Talent has been engaged exclusively to run the search for a Business Development Manager to join one of the leading, PE-backed IoT connectivity businesses in the UK.

A global IoT connectivity business providing cellular connectivity, SIM/eSIM solutions, and device management technology across international markets. They've recently been acquired as part of a parent-company buy-out and are about to enter into a massive period of growth, after what has already been a massively successful past few years.

This is a new business-focused position, ideal for commercially driven sales professionals who can identify opportunities, build pipeline from the ground up, and close deals with organisations operating connected products or services.

Key responsibilities
  • Identify, target, and win new business opportunities through proactive outreach and pipeline generation
  • Work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to manage the sales process
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to close
  • Sell consultatively into senior decision-makers
  • Build relationships across sectors such as IoT, telematics, EV charging, payments, security, asset tracking, and connected devices
  • Work closely with technical and commercial teams to deliver the right solution for each customer
Ideal background
  • At least 3+ years in B2B business development or new business sales experience
  • Experience in any of these industries - IoT, telecoms, managed services, connectivity, SaaS, or wider technology sales
  • Strong prospecting and pipeline generation skills
