The Opportunity
We are recruiting for a Sales Administrator to join an ambitious and forward-thinking organisation operating within the space-based technology sector. You will play a key role in supporting the sales team, managing customer enquiries, processing orders, and ensuring smooth operational workflows. Responsibilities
- Providing administrative support to the sales team
- Ensuring all relevant documentation is received from new customers
- Updating internal systems with credit limits
- Setting up new customers accurately within internal systems
- Processing customer orders
- Preparing and reviewing shipping documentation for export
- Liaising with the warehouse to confirm stock availability and order fulfilment
- Handling customer enquiries, queries, and order updates via telephone and email
- Planning and coordinating freight forwarders on a day-to-day basis
- Raising commercial invoices
- Ensuring all paperwork complies with customs and export requirements
- Assisting export agents as required
Requirements
- Previous experience in an administrative role would be advantageous
- Ability to prioritise workload effectively without supervision
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to deliver accurate information to colleagues and external stakeholders
- Strong customer service skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
