The Role
Inbound Talent is recruiting a Graduate Network Operations Analyst (NOC) for an authorised Starlink reseller operating within the LEO satellite and connectivity sector. This organisation is one of the UK’s leading providers, with a global operational footprint, and is looking to expand its Network Operations Centre (NOC) team. The successful candidate will join an established support function based on-site in Bathgate, working a 12-hour shift pattern that includes both day and night shifts.
Responsibilities
- Act as part of a night shift NOC team supporting a critical client base
- Provide first-line and escalated technical support alongside Network Engineering and Service Delivery teams
- Resolve networking incidents and service requests efficiently while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction
- Log and manage faults and service requests within the company’s CRM system
- Carry out initial diagnostics and aim to resolve the majority of incidents at first point of contact
- Work within strict SLAs to ensure timely resolution of issues
- Ensure accurate handover of outstanding issues between shifts
- Keep customers informed of progress and maintain clear, up-to-date system records
- Configure and troubleshoot networking technologies including Starlink systems, Private 5G, switches, routers, and modems
- Liaise with third-party engineers and suppliers to support fault resolution
- Provide remote support, configurations, and link checks for field engineering teams
- Actively monitor networks using network monitoring tools
- Escalate issues appropriately to third-party suppliers when required
- Operate within an ITIL-aligned service environment
Requirements
- Proven experience working in a NOC or supporting enterprise networks
- Eligibility for SC Clearance
- Experience with Low Earth Orbit (LEO) solutions (advantageous)
- Exposure to Ubiquiti solutions (advantageous)
- Ability to perform consistently in a high-pressure, SLA-driven environment
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
- A customer-focused approach alongside solid technical capability
