Join Inaura School — Where Every Small Step Matters
Inaura is an Independent Special School on the Somerset Levels, providing bespoke 1:1 teaching for up to 36 students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and complex SEND. With four Learning Centres across the Levels and students aged 8–18, we offer a nurturing, therapeutic environment where relationships and personalised learning sit at the heart of everything we do.
We are now seeking a KS2/KS3 Teacher to join our dedicated Poolbridge team, working primarily with younger learners (Years 3–8/9) across English, Maths, Science and PSHE.
We believe every young person deserves to be truly seen, heard and supported. Our work is rooted in relationships, shaped by kindness and belonging, and strengthened by a team who refuse to let any child slip through the net. We create safe, inclusive spaces where students can grow academically, socially and emotionally — and where staff are trusted, supported and able to make a real difference every day.
We'd love to hear from you if you can:
- Bring learning to life for students with SEMH needs in a small setting of 13 pupils
- Build trusting, supportive relationships that enable high‑quality 1:1 learning
- Deliver energetic, creative lessons for students with a wide range of SEND
- Prioritise safety, wellbeing and emotional development alongside academic progress
- Work flexibly across Learning Centres (a car and business‑use insurance are essential; mileage is reimbursed)
We welcome applications from experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs). ECTs will receive full access to the ECT Framework, personalised mentoring and a strong support structure — Inaura has an excellent track record of guiding ECTs to successful completion.
What We Offer:
- A warm, supportive team with a shared commitment to inclusive education
- A commitment to employee work-life balance and a community where people feel they belong, are supported, and can grow together
- Full access to our Employee Assistance Programme for staff wellbeing
- Free parking at all Learning Centres
- A comprehensive in‑house training programme and ongoing CPD opportunities
- The chance to make a meaningful difference every single day
