We're working with a leading investment bank / financial services firm to find an experienced Oracle Financials Technical Developer for a contract role supporting and evolving their Oracle Financials estate.
This is a great opportunity to work across both BAU support and a major Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) migration programme, moving a mature on-premises Oracle EBS environment into the cloud.
The role:
- Support and maintain core Oracle EBS modules - iProc, iExp, PO, AP, GL, AR and FA (Oracle Release 12.2.x)
- Ensure system availability, technical enhancements and defect resolution across the Oracle EBS estate
- Play a key technical role in the migration of Oracle Financials from on-premises infrastructure to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) — covering analysis, application/data migration, interface remediation, testing and deployment
- Work closely with Finance, Technology, infrastructure teams, vendors and implementation partners throughout the transition
- Identify opportunities to modernise and improve resilience, scalability and supportability within OCI
- Document current-state architecture, integrations and customisations to support the migration and future operations
What we're looking for:
- Strong hands-on Oracle EBS development and support experience
- Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) migrations
- Comfortable engaging with both IT and business stakeholders at all levels
- A practical, solutions-focused mindset and strong sense of product ownership
- Experience within investment banking or financial services is desirable
