Contract Lead Full Stack Engineer (Python, Node, React)

Rate: £500 - £550 per day (Inside IR35)

Location: UK Remote

Start: ASAP

Duration: 3 to 6 months initially

We’re supporting a growing technology consultancy delivering large-scale cloud and application modernisation programmes for enterprise clients who are now looking for a Lead Full Stack Engineer to join a transformation project with an existing customer. If you enjoy solving complex engineering challenges, working in a full stack capacity, this role will suit you perfectly.

The Role

As a Lead Full Stack Engineer, you’ll join the consultancy’s technical delivery team, working directly with end clients to stabilise, refactor and modernise critical applications. This is a hands-on position involving full stack development, architecture decisions and more.

What We're Looking For

  • Essential:
  • Strong experience with Python
  • Strong experience with NodeJS / ReactJS
  • Docker and containerised workloads
  • CI/CD tooling: GitHub Actions, Jenkins
  • Cloud experience either Azure, AWS or GCP
  • Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
  • Nice to have:
  • Consultancy or client-facing delivery experience
  • Background in application remediation or cloud modernisation
  • Understanding of cloud networking, security and observability
