Are you a hands‑on cloud and DevOps engineer who just wants to get on with the job? We're working with a fast‑scaling compliance technology business looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer who can pick up complex platform work and run with it, no hand‑holding required.
About the Company
Our client sits at the centre of how the world's biggest regulated financial firms manage risk. Their platform captures and supervises digital communications across email, MS Teams, WhatsApp, iMessage and more, giving compliance teams the confidence to say yes to new channels and new ways of working, without losing sight of what matters.
Following a recent merger, the business now brings together content compliance, distribution and communications supervision into a single, Connected platform, governing the entire regulated communication lifecycle end to end. The combined business works with 17 of the top 20 global asset managers and supports more than 1,550 regulated firms worldwide, with AI at the heart of how it surfaces risk and cuts down manual review time.
Backed by significant investment and growing fast, particularly across the US, this is a pivotal moment for the engineering team, and a genuinely exciting time to join.

This is a hands‑on, execution‑focused role. You'll be trusted to take ownership of production platform work and infrastructure builds with real autonomy, working alongside a Lead DevOps Engineer and the wider platform team, but without needing detailed direction on how to get things done.

- Work hands‑on across core AWS services: Lambda, ECS Fargate, SQS, SNS, Aurora (PostgreSQL & MySQL) and S3
- Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
- Own and improve CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions
- Partner with software engineering teams to embed good DevOps practice into their day‑to‑day workflows
- Address developer experience issues and help resolve security concerns as they come up
- Manage secrets securely across CI/CD pipelines
What You'll Bring
- Solid, proven experience as a DevOps or Platform Engineer, ideally within a scaling SaaS environment
- Strong working knowledge of AWS services and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
- Experience with CI/CD workflows, ideally GitHub Actions
- A genuinely autonomous working style: comfortable prioritising your own workload and putting it into action
- A collaborative approach to working alongside software engineering teams
- Strong troubleshooting instincts and a pragmatic, get‑it‑done attitude
