We are recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to support the Finance Director at a well-established automotive business based in Solihull. This is a new role created to support the Finance Director. This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity for someone with solid finance experience who is organised, detail-oriented, and professional with a strong foundation in day to day and month end practices that include invoicing, chasing receivables (all round purchase ledger responsibilities) and month end payroll. You will be working in a busy, friendly environment where accuracy and confidentiality are paramount.
The Role
- Supporting the Finance Director with a range of accounting and administrative duties, including:
- Using Sage and Excel to maintain accurate financial records
- Purchase ledger and sales ledger management
- Processing monthly payroll
- Assisting with day-to-day accounting tasks and reconciliations
- Supporting general administration within the finance department
- Liaising with suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders as required
What The successful candidate will demonstrate
