Our client, a well-established precision subcontract machining company in Dudley, are currently hiring for an experienced CNC Machinist to join a small, skilled team on permanent days. You'll be working on CNC Milling machines and Horizontal Borers, taking responsibility for setting, programming and operating.

You Must Have:

  • Heidenhain control experience
  • CNC Machinist / Horizontal Borer
  • Fanuc knowledge (beneficial)
  • Medium / large milling & boring
  • Setting & programming from scratch
  • Engineering drawing reading (GD&T)
  • Micrometer, slip gauges, inspection
  • Background in subcontract machining environment
  • Apprenticeship or time-served
  • Comfortable working autonomously
  • Flexible to support wider business
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Commutable to Dudley DY postcode

Duties:

  • Programme, set and operate CNC Milling machines and Horizontal Borers
  • Working within a small team
  • Be flexible to carry out additional duties to support demands of the business
