The Opportunity

As Head of Policy & Regulation, you’ll become one of the leading voices shaping how independent networks support the UK’s energy and water ambitions. You’ll:

  • Lead the development of policy and regulatory strategy across a fast‑evolving landscape.
  • Represent the sector with senior government, regulators, industry bodies and politicians.
  • Build and maintain influential partnerships across energy, gas, water and wastewater.
  • Lead horizon scanning to identify risks and opportunities for the sector.
  • Manage and grow INA’s policy capability, including oversight of the Policy & Research Adviser.
  • Work closely with member organisations to craft clear, compelling, evidence‑based positions.
