Role Overview:

IN4 Group is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Senior Lead Instructor specialising in Cloud, Data and Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies. This pivotal role within Skills City will be responsible for leading the delivery of cutting-edge training programmes, designing engaging learning materials, and developing bespoke upskilling projects for our clients. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in cloud-based data analysis and big data technologies, with a strong emphasis on data and AI, coupled with proven instructional abilities and industry-recognised certifications.

Key Responsibilities

The key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Instruction and Delivery: Lead and deliver high-quality training programmes on in-demand cloud data and AI technologies to a diverse range of learners, including professionals upskilling through client projects and individuals seeking to enter the tech industry. Delivery methods will include in-person and virtual sessions.
• Curriculum and Content Development: Design, develop, and update comprehensive and engaging training materials, including presentations, hands-on labs, case studies, and assessments, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and the latest technological advancements.
• Project Design for Clients: Collaborate with clients to understand their specific upskilling needs and design tailored projects and learning pathways that address their business objectives and employee development goals.
• Technical Expertise: Maintain a deep and current understanding of the top in-demand cloud data and big data technologies, with a particular focus on data science and AI within the cloud ecosystem.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality and effectiveness of training delivery and materials through continuous evaluation, feedback mechanisms, and iterative improvements.
• Learner Support and Mentorship: Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to learners, fostering a positive and effective learning environment.
• Industry Engagement: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in cloud data and AI, incorporating this knowledge into the training programmes.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other instructors, curriculum developers, and the wider IN4 Group team to ensure seamless programme delivery and knowledge sharing.
• Compliance and Certification: Maintain relevant professional qualifications and certifications, including holding a valid Certified Trainer certification on a major cloud platform (e.g., AWS Certified Trainer, Microsoft Certified Trainer for Azure, Google Cloud Certified Trainer).

Qualifications and Experience:

• Extensive professional experience (8+ years) working with data analysis and big data technologies, with a significant focus on cloud platforms and AI applications.
• Proven experience (5+ years) in delivering technical training and instruction to diverse audiences.
• Must hold a valid Certified Trainer certification on one of the major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud). Please specify your certification in your application.
• Strong understanding of data modelling, data warehousing principles, and database technologies.
• Hands-on experience with machine learning algorithms, model development, and deployment in a cloud environment.
• Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in data science and AI (e.g., Python, R, SQL).
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong curriculum development and instructional design skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Experience in designing and delivering training projects for corporate clients is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with adult learning principles and effective training methodologies.
