This is a newly created Partner Sales Development Executive role focused entirely on revenue generation through an indirect partner ecosystem. You will operate as an embedded SDE within partner sales teams, working on-site with strategic partners to identify, qualify, and develop net new customer opportunities. There is no cold outbound prospecting, with all pipeline generated through partner relationships and joint engagements. Success is measured solely on partner-sourced net new revenue, with opportunities handed over to the internal sales team for closure.
The annual target is £2M in partner-sourced net new bookings. The role involves embedding within priority partner organisations for two to three days per week, sourcing and qualifying opportunities through partner-led conversations, building a consistent partner-generated pipeline, and enabling partner sellers with talk tracks, use cases, and sales support. You will translate technical challenges into commercial outcomes, maintain accurate CRM records, manage deal registration and forecasting, and track opportunities through to close in collaboration with sales teams.
You will work across a diverse partner ecosystem including enterprise service providers and telcos, systems integrators, managed service providers, and strategic technology alliance partners. The compensation package includes a base salary of up to £80,000, with uncapped OTE and accelerators. Commission is 100% tied to net new partner-sourced revenue. The role requires frequent travel across the UK and Ireland, monthly European travel, and occasional international events, with all expenses covered.
The ideal candidate has three to five years' experience in sales development or enterprise sales, experience with enterprise SaaS or observability platforms, a proven record of pipeline and revenue contribution, a strong understanding of enterprise IT environments, and the right to work in the UK with a full driving licence.
Success in this role means partners proactively bringing you into opportunities, generating consistent high-quality partner pipeline, achieving strong conversion rates to closed revenue, and meeting or exceeding the £2M annual target.
