About The Role
The role of an Associate within IN2 is a key position in the growth and development of the business. Responsible to Associate Directors, the Associate leads our project delivery teams, retains and grows existing client relationships, ensures quality and innovation in delivery, mentors developing talent and manages project teams.
What you will do:
- Act as project lead on flagship projects, overseeing design, project management, and site coordination.
- Lead electrical design reviews across residential, commercial, educational, and healthcare projects.
- Develop project scope, budgeting, and reporting.
- Implement and oversee successful design solutions for a variety of projects.
- Oversee resource management, ensuring efficient team allocation and successful project delivery.
- Provide mentorship to junior engineering staff to support career development.
- Assist management with business development and financial control activities.
Your Experience To Be Considered For This Role, You Should Have:
- A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline, with Chartered status.
- A minimum of 10 years' experience at a senior level, ideally within a leading UK M&E consultancy.
- Strong commercial acumen, with a proven track record of successfully delivering largeâscale commercial projects in the UK.
- Experience leading and developing engineering teams.
- The ability to drive projects from concept to completion, ensuring quality and efficiency.
- Proficiency in delivering technical reports, presentations, and specifications.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
