IN2 Consult is a specialist executive search firm partnering with the UK's top 20 accountancy firms on Partner-level appointments across Tax and Audit. We operate at the senior end of the market, where relationships, market intelligence, and discretion matter more than volume.
We're growing our Reading team and looking for a 180 Recruitment Consultant to play a pivotal role in delivering on retained and exclusive mandates.
As a Consultant, you'll focus purely on the candidate-side of the process initially— sourcing, engaging, and qualifying senior professionals across the Tax and Audit space. You'll work alongside experienced client-facing partners who bring the mandates; your job is to find the talent that wins them.
Day-to-day you'll be:
- Mapping senior talent across the top 20 UK accountancy firms
- Headhunting Directors, Senior Managers, and Partner-level professionals
- Building long-term relationships with passive candidates
- Conducting in-depth qualification calls and briefing candidates on confidential opportunities
- Maintaining a live talent pipeline across Tax and Audit disciplines
- Producing market intelligence and shortlists for client-facing colleagues
What We're Looking For:
- Recruitment experience (agency, in-house, or executive search) — ideally within professional services, finance, or accountancy
- A genuine interest in research-led, relationship-driven recruitment over high-volume transactional work
- Strong written and verbal communication — you'll be representing IN2 to senior professionals
- Curiosity, resilience, and the patience to play the long game on senior searches
- Comfortable working independently within a collaborative team
- Experience in Tax or Audit recruitment is a strong plus but not essential — we'll invest in the right person.
What's On Offer:
- Competitive base salary plus uncapped commission structure
- Hybrid and flexible working — Reading office as your base, with genuine flexibility on hours and location
- Warm desk with live, retained mandates from day one
- Clear progression pathway, including the option to move to a 360 role if desired
- Training and mentoring from experienced executive search partners
- A grown-up, low-ego culture focused on quality of work over KPIs and pressure tactics
