About the Role

This is a critical position in a growing Finance function, supporting complex accounting matters across a multinational structure. You will serve as a subject matter expert on IFRS standards and provide guidance on the accounting treatment of business acquisitions, group reorganizations, and other significant transactions. You will also play a key role in group consolidations and technical reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide authoritative advice on the application of IFRS standards to business transactions
  • Lead the technical accounting review of acquisitions, disposals, and other complex transactions
  • Oversee the preparation of technical accounting memos and documentation
  • Support the month-end and year-end close process, particularly for group consolidations
  • Assist in the implementation of new accounting standards and policies across the business
  • Collaborate with auditors and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance and accurate reporting

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/CA/CPA or equivalent) with significant post-qualification experience
  • Trained in a Top 10 accountancy firm, with a solid technical grounding in IFRS
  • Industry experience in a large group or multinational environment (preferred)
  • Strong experience in group consolidations and acquisition accounting
  • Ability to interpret and communicate complex accounting issues clearly to non-technical stakeholders
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, change-driven environment
