About the Role:
We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Finance Manager to join our growing Finance Team. This role is pivotal to the business, reporting directly to the Financial Controller. You will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end finance operations, financial planning and analysis, balance sheet reconciliations, and leading continuous improvement initiatives across procedures and controls. The ideal candidate will bring a strong finance background, adaptability, and a proactive approach. You will be expected to collaborate with senior stakeholders, contribute to strategic financial decisions, and support the development and progression of the wider finance team.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day financial operations of the company
- Review financial data, produce monthly and annual reports, and provide insights and recommendations
- Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders and cross-functional departments
- Deliver data-driven recommendations to support decision-making
- Ensure timely and accurate balance sheet reconciliations, investigating discrepancies
- Identify opportunities to minimise financial risk
- Support year-end audit processes and performance-related inquiries
- Lead and participate in projects including system improvements and automation
- Produce monthly Board Pack and Profit & Loss statements
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with 3+ years post-qualification experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced level)
- Comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Highly motivated, ambitious, and able to work autonomously
- Flexible and able to adapt to changing business needs
