Are you someone who enjoys taking data, finding the story behind it and turning it into something that genuinely influences business decisions? We're working with a growing organisation that is looking for an experienced Data & Insight Manager / Business Insights Manager to join their expanding data and insights function. This is a highly visible role supporting a major consumer-facing environment, where you'll work closely with senior stakeholders to turn data into actionable insight, shape strategy and improve commercial performance.

This isn't a role purely focused on reporting. You'll be expected to understand the wider business, challenge thinking and translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations.

The Role

  • Partnering with senior stakeholders and business leaders to understand their priorities and translate them into meaningful data and insight requirements.
  • Analysing data to identify trends, opportunities and areas for improvement, turning findings into commercially relevant recommendations.
  • Developing and maintaining high-quality, customer-focused dashboards and visualisations using tools such as Power BI, Tableau or similar.
  • Presenting insights and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, helping stakeholders understand what the data means and, importantly, what they should do with it.
  • Supporting the development of the wider data and insight strategy, helping the business make better use of its data.
  • Working across multiple data sources to build a clear picture of performance and identify actionable insight.
  • Taking ownership of data-led projects from initial requirements and analysis through to final output and implementation.
  • Working collaboratively across the wider business to drive continuous improvement and better decision-making.

About You

We're looking for someone who combines strong analytical capability with excellent commercial and stakeholder skills.

You’ll ideally have:

  • Experience in a Data & Insights, Commercial Insights, Consumer Insights, Analytics or Business Intelligence role.
  • Experience within retail, FMCG, consumer goods or a related customer-facing environment, where data and insight are used to influence commercial decisions.
  • A proven ability to move beyond simply producing reports and use data to influence business decisions.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with confidence working with senior leaders and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience translating complex datasets into clear, commercially relevant stories and recommendations.
  • Strong experience with Power BI, Tableau or a similar visualisation platform.
  • Good technical understanding of data, with experience working with SQL and/or other analytical tools being advantageous.
  • A naturally curious and commercially minded approach, with the ability to challenge, ask the right questions and get underneath the numbers.
  • Experience managing or contributing to data projects from requirements through to delivery.

Why this role?

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to have genuine influence through data, rather than simply being responsible for producing dashboards and reports. You'll have significant exposure to senior stakeholders, the opportunity to shape how the organisation uses data and the autonomy to turn insight into tangible commercial outcomes. As part of a wider international group, there are also strong opportunities for career development and progression, alongside a collaborative and rewarding working environment.

If you're an analytical, commercially minded Data & Insights professional who enjoys partnering with the business and making data genuinely useful, we'd love to hear from you.
