My client in the property industry is currently seeking a commercially minded Finance Analyst to join their dynamic FP&A team. In this role, you will act as a strategic link between finance and the wider business, supporting key decision-makers with insights that drive performance and long-term value. You will be working in a fast-paced environment where your analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to communicate clearly will help shape both short- and long-term financial strategies.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements
- Business Partner with Internal and External stakeholders.
- Support the FP&A team in preparing annual budgets and forecasts, including commercial KPI planning and scenario analysis.
- Assist with internal reporting and the preparation of operational packs for senior leadership.
- Contribute to month-end and year-end close processes, including preparation of accruals, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
- Maintain the site investment tracker, monitor project completion dates, assess capitalisable spend, and reconcile the fixed asset register.
- Provide financial insights to support pricing strategies, renewals, and overall commercial decision-making.
- Assist with inputs into half-yearly valuations and year-end financial reporting.
- Perform ad-hoc financial modelling to inform strategic initiatives and improve financial performance.
- Support the management of the SQL database, ensuring data integrity through proper pipeline maintenance and involvement in system upgrades.
- Update and manage DAX measures and contribute to the ongoing development of the Power BI reporting suite.
- Demonstrate strong Excel modelling and PowerPoint skills; prior FP&A or commercial finance experience is preferred.
- Communicate effectively with financial and non-financial stakeholders, simplifying complex data and insights.
- Show a strong willingness to learn technical systems including SQL, DAX, and Power BI.
- Thrive under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and bring an ambitious, detail-focused mindset to the team.
