Our client, is seeking a Financial Accountant to join their dynamic central finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong accountant with FRS 102 expertise to take on a varied role within a complex environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical accounting guidance to global and regional finance teams.
- Maintain and update accounting policies in line with FRS 102/UK GAAP and business changes.
- Prepare and produce annual statutory accounts for subsidiary companies, liaising with
- external auditors to ensure accurate and timely completion.
- You will be responsible for ensuring robust inter-company accounting procedures, prepare and produce annual statutory accounts as well as accounting.
- Identify and implement improvements to the year-end financial close process.
- Collaborate on ad hoc finance projects, including insurance data collation and internal initiatives.
What We\’re Looking For:
- Fully qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA or equivalent)
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally and influence senior stakeholders.
- Solid experience in consolidation, statutory accounting and FRS 102
- Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with multiple stakeholders.
