Job Description

Finance Analyst – 12 Months FTC – Subscriptions – £50k-£60k – London / Hybrid

My private equity-backed client in the subscription industry is seeking a skilled Finance Analyst to join their team for a 12 month contract. This individual will collaborate with various business units to analyse and interpret financial data, identifying key business trends and issues. The ideal candidate will be confident in using their insights to effectively communicate important findings and themes to company leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Generate and deliver weekly sales reports for Senior Management review
  • Prepare monthly reports on Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) along with relevant analysis
  • Calculate and prepare monthly commission reports
  • Compile monthly board-level presentations, including in-depth analysis on revenue and profit trends, KPI performance, and financial forecasts
  • Produce regular and ad-hoc reports, analysis, and presentations for management teams
  • Analyse P&L trends to proactively identify potential risks and opportunities
  • Collaborate with the Finance Business Partner to manage the annual budget process, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality output
  • Assist in quarterly re-forecasting processes, clearly communicating potential risks and opportunities
  • Work alongside the Finance Business Partner on ad-hoc projects, engaging with both finance and non-finance stakeholders
  • Provide support for due diligence requests and pro-forma financials
  • Contribute to value-add projects such as KPI development, planning process improvements, and finance transformation initiatives

Education / Qualifications / Work experience

  • Salesforce experience
  • ACCA / ACA / CIMA Qualified preferred, PQE / QBE considered
  • Must be on no more than 4 weeks notice
