A leading professional services firm is seeking an experienced Financial Accounting Advisory Partner to join its London office. This is a senior leadership role focused on delivering high-quality technical accounting advice, leading complex client engagements, and driving the continued growth of the firm’s advisory practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver financial accounting advisory engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients, including listed and large private companies.
  • Provide technical accounting guidance across IFRS and UK GAAP, including complex transactions (M&A, restructuring, IPO readiness).
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships at C-suite level.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities, contributing to revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams across multiple engagements.
  • Collaborate with other service lines to deliver integrated client solutions.
  • Stay ahead of regulatory changes and emerging accounting issues, ensuring clients receive proactive advice.

Requirements

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
  • Extensive experience in financial accounting advisory, ideally within a top-tier professional services firm.
  • Strong technical expertise in IFRS and UK GAAP.
  • Proven track record of winning and delivering high-value client engagements.
  • Established network and strong business development capabilities.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working with large, complex organisations and senior executives.
