Interim Management Accountant- Didcot, Oxfordshire (Hybrid)- £350-£400 Per Day Outside IR35- ACCA/CIMA/ACA Qualified- 3 Month Contract

About the Role

IN2 Consult is currently partnering with a high growth client in Oxfordshire on the recruitment Interim Management Accountant to join their finance team on an interim 3 month basis. The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACCA / CIMA / ACA) with proven experience in delivering accurate and insightful management accounting in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Manage month-end processes, including accruals and prepayments.
• Produce clear and insightful management commentary to support financial results.
• Update and maintain board packs, ensuring all information is timely, relevant, and well-presented.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across finance and operations to support decision-making.
• Identify and implement process improvements to strengthen financial controls and reporting efficiency.

Key Requirements

• Fully qualified accountant (ACCA / CIMA / ACA) – essential.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge with demonstrable experience in management accounting.
• Proven track record of preparing balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, and prepayments.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data manipulation, etc.) – essential.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication skills, capable of presenting financial insights clearly to senior stakeholders.
