I’m working on a confidential, retained Corporate Tax Partner appointment with a Top 20 UK accountancy firm.
This isn’t a “fill a seat” hire. The firm is investing in its corporate tax offering and wants a Partner who can lead from the front: owning client relationships, winning work, and building a team around them.
The role
- Lead a portfolio of corporate tax clients across owner-managed businesses, PE-backed groups and mid-market corporates
- Drive new business through your own network and cross-selling with Audit, Deals and Advisory colleagues
- Advise on group structuring, transactions, reorganisations, R&D, tax risk and compliance
- Build, develop and retain a high-performing team
- Help shape the strategy and growth of the tax practice
What they’re looking for
- An established Partner, or a Director ready for the step up with a credible business case
- CTA and/or ACA qualified
- A track record of originating work, not just delivering it
- Commercial, client-facing and genuinely interested in building something
