- Reviewing and improving revenue recognition processes, policies and controls in line with IFRS 15.
- Working closely with key stakeholders across finance and the wider business to understand revenue streams, contracts and accounting requirements.
- Supporting the delivery of year-end statutory reporting and financial statements.

About You
We're looking for a technically strong accountant who enjoys working on projects, transformation and complex financial accounting matters. You'll ideally have:
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification with strong post-qualified experience.
- Strong hands-on experience across financial accounting and technical accounting.
- Proven experience with IFRS 15 revenue recognition, ideally within a complex or multi-stream revenue environment.
- Strong experience preparing or supporting year-end statutory accounts and financial reporting.
- Previous experience working directly with external auditors and managing audit queries.
- Experience delivering or contributing to finance transformation, process improvement or systems projects.
- Strong understanding of month-end and year-end close processes.
- Experience with balance sheet reconciliations, journals, accruals, prepayments and provisions.
- The ability to analyse existing processes, identify improvements and drive projects through to implementation.
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong understanding of IFRS and accounting principles.
- The ability to quickly understand a new business, systems, processes and revenue models.
- A hands-on, proactive approach and the ability to work effectively within a busy and changing finance environment.
- Previous experience in an interim or fixed-term contract environment would be advantageous.
The Opportunity
This is a great opportunity for a fully qualified Financial Accountant to join a well-established London organisation for an initial 6-month period and take ownership of a range of IFRS 15, financial accounting and finance transformation projects.
The role would suit someone who enjoys technical accounting, project work and improving how finance operates, rather than a role focused purely on BAU financial accounting.
