IN2 Consult is partnering with a high-growth deep tech company, currently approaching unicorn status, to appoint a Chief Financial Officer. This is a pivotal hire at a defining moment in the company’s journey, as it scales globally, builds institutional investor relationships, and prepares for a future IPO.

The CFO will play a central role in shaping the company’s next phase of growth, working closely with the CEO and board to:

  • Lead the business through IPO readiness and long‑term capital markets strategy
  • Build and scale a best‑in‑class finance function from the ground up
  • Drive strategic financial planning across a highly capital‑intensive, engineering‑led organisation
  • Lead global fundraising, including large institutional rounds and strategic partnerships
  • Establish and manage investor relations with top‑tier venture, growth, and public market investors
  • Implement robust financial systems, controls, and governance frameworks
  • Support international expansion, M&A activity, and complex commercial structuring

We are seeking an exceptional CFO with experience operating at scale in AI or Deep Tech environments. Key requirements include:

  • Proven CFO (or senior finance leader ready to step up) within a high‑growth AI, robotics, or deep tech company
  • Experience in unicorn, near‑unicorn, or large‑cap deep tech businesses
  • Demonstrated track record of IPO preparation / IPO execution / public company readiness
  • Deep experience in raising significant capital (venture, growth equity, sovereign wealth, or public markets)
  • Strong background in investor relations and board‑level engagement
  • Experience building or scaling a finance function in a fast‑growing, international business
  • Understanding of capital‑intensive business models (e.g. hardware, infrastructure, compute, or industrial systems)
  • Commercially minded, with the ability to operate as a true strategic partner to the CEO
