The Opportunity
A large, complex and highly international organisation is looking to appoint a Global R2R Process Owner to take strategic ownership of the end-to-end Record to Report process across the Group.
This is a senior enterprise-level position, responsible for shaping the global R2R strategy, operating model, governance and continuous improvement agenda across multiple geographies and entities.
The role goes well beyond traditional financial accounting. You'll be responsible for transforming and standardising the global R2R function, driving improvements across financial close, controls, reporting, processes and systems, while leveraging automation, data and emerging technologies to create a more scalable, efficient and digitally enabled finance operation.
Reporting into senior Group Finance leadership, you'll work closely with Finance, Shared Services, Technology, Operations and senior stakeholders across the organisation, providing strategic leadership across the global R2R process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and continuously evolve the global R2R strategy, operating model and governance framework.
- Drive standardisation and harmonisation of R2R processes across multiple geographies and entities.
- Oversee the global financial close process, balancing speed, accuracy, control and quality.
- Establish and maintain Group-wide accounting policies, standards and controls aligned with IFRS/GAAP and regulatory requirements.
- Lead a multi-year R2R transformation roadmap, aligned with wider finance and business transformation priorities.
- Drive process simplification, standardisation and automation across the global finance function.
- Lead ERP optimisation and the adoption of automation, AI and advanced analytics to improve R2R performance.
- Establish clear KPIs, SLAs and performance measures, using data and insight to drive continuous improvement.
- Partner closely with Shared Services to improve service quality, efficiency and cost effectiveness. xgikmsk
