The Opportunity
A large, complex and highly international organisation is looking to appoint a Global P2P Process Owner to take strategic ownership of the end-to-end Procure to Pay process across the Group.
This is a senior enterprise-level position, responsible for shaping the global P2P strategy, operating model, governance and continuous improvement agenda across multiple geographies and entities.
The role goes well beyond traditional accounts payable management. You'll be responsible for transforming and standardising the global P2P function, driving improvements across purchasing, supplier management, invoice processing, payments, controls, processes and systems, while leveraging automation, data and emerging technologies to create a more scalable, efficient and digitally enabled finance operation.
Reporting into senior Group Finance leadership, you'll work closely with Finance, Procurement, Shared Services, Technology, Operations and senior stakeholders across the organisation, providing strategic leadership across the global P2P process.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and continuously evolve the global P2P strategy, operating model and governance framework.
- Drive standardisation and harmonisation of P2P processes across multiple geographies, entities and business units.
- Oversee the end-to-end P2P lifecycle, from requisition and purchase order through to invoice processing, payment and supplier management.
- Drive improvements across invoice processing, three-way matching, payment processes, supplier onboarding and master data.
- Establish and maintain Group-wide policies, controls and standards across the P2P process.
- Lead a multi-year P2P transformation roadmap, aligned with wider finance and business transformation priorities.
- Drive process simplification, standardisation and automation across the global P2P function.
