IN2 are working with a leading global financial institution to source an experienced AV Specialist to support their London office. This is a hands-on role within a high-performing Unified Communications environment, focused on delivering reliable meeting room support and high-quality live event production.
You will play a key role in ensuring seamless day-to-day AV operations, supporting everything from corporate meetings to large internal events.
The Role
You will work closely with an established UC and AV team, providing on-site technical support across meeting spaces and event environments. The position combines live event delivery, break-fix support, and ongoing maintenance of AV systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Event Support
- Provide technical support for meetings, presentations, and corporate events
- Set up, operate, and de-rig AV equipment across a range of event sizes
- Deliver real-time troubleshooting during live events
- Support internal and client-facing events as part of daily operations
- Respond to AV faults and user issues across meeting spaces
- Diagnose and resolve technical problems or escalate where needed
- Carry out routine checks and preventative maintenance
- Troubleshoot audio, video, and connectivity issues
- Handle cabling tasks and physical AV fixes where required
- Track and manage AV equipment across meeting rooms and event spaces
- Maintain accurate inventory records
- Ensure sufficient stock levels of spare equipment
- Support AV upgrades and refresh projects
- Assist with installation and configuration of new systems
- Carry out room updates including device swaps and cable management
- Manage RMA processes with hardware vendors
- Track faulty equipment through repair or replacement cycles
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with professional AV systems
- Experience with video conferencing technologies, Cisco preferred
- Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment
