We are looking for an experienced AV Installation Technician to join our client on a luxury residential project on the M3 Corridor. The successful candidate will have experience with both 1st and 2nd fix AV installations, particularly in high-end residential settings, as well as commissioning of residential AV systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- 1st Fix AV Installation: running cables, setting up infrastructure before walls and ceilings are completed.
- 2nd Fix AV Installation: installing in-ceiling speakers, AV control systems, and other equipment post-decoration.
- Installing, programming, and testing AV control systems such as Lutron, KNX, Crestron, Rako and Control4.
- Collaborating with other trades on-site to ensure a seamless integration of AV systems.
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard with attention to detail.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in 1st and 2nd fix AV installations.
- Experience working with luxury residential properties.
- Proficiency in installing and configuring Lutron/KNX and/or Control4 systems.
- Knowledge of in-ceiling speaker installations and AV control systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills and professional demeanour.
