About the Role:
Weβre working with an established and growing building services contractor with over 15 years in the industry. They specialise in high-end residential and commercial projects across London and are now looking for an Electrical Estimator to support their expanding workload. This is a key role in a collaborative, fast-paced environment with a strong pipeline of upcoming projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review drawings, specifications, and project documentation
- Complete accurate take-offs and highlight risk items
- Send enquiries to subcontractors and suppliers
- Issue RFIs where necessary
- Use Cypher estimating software (training provided if needed)
- Prepare tender letters and summaries
- Support value engineering where appropriate
- Attend site visits and tender meetings
- Complete full project handovers to delivery teams
- Vet subcontractor quotations
- Assist with large variations if required
What We're Looking For:
- Strong knowledge of electrical installations, ideally within residential or commercial sectors
- Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical estimating
- Comfortable working with Microsoft Outlook and Excel
- Experience using Cypher is desirable but not essential
- Trade background (apprenticeship or hands-on experience) is a plus
Package & Benefits:
- £50,000β£65,000 salary (depending on experience)
