We design experiences for the brands shaping culture. This role is one of the most strategic hires we're making this year.
We're hiring a Staffing & Talent Coordinator to own our freelance talent network. You'll be responsible for sourcing, vetting and managing a high-quality pool of freelance talent across the beauty and wellness industry, ensuring the right people are in the right place for every activation. You'll serve as the primary point of contact for our freelance community, and the internal team's first call when it comes to availability, fit and logistics. This is an early-stage role with real scope. You'll build the function, set the standard and grow with the business — with direct support from our Founder throughout. You'll also have the chance to be on-site and backstage at some of the biggest brand events of the year — a real entry point for someone looking to build a network at the most exciting live experiences across the globe.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Curate the network: source, vet and onboard a diverse, elite tier of freelance talent (MUA, hair, nails, beauty therapy, brand ambassadors)
- Strategic matching: act as the internal “casting director,” ensuring talent profiles align perfectly with each brand brief and IYD's quality bar
- Operational excellence: maintain a live database of profiles, rates and availability, giving the team real-time visibility
- Relationship management: serve as the primary advocate and point of contact for our freelance community, building long-term loyalty and trust
- End-to-end coordination: own the staffing logistics, from initial outreach and contracts through to pre-event briefings and day-of comms
- On-site leadership: attend key events to support on the ground and ensure the brand experience is flawless
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- 1–3 years' experience in coordination, booking, casting or a talent-facing role
- Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously without dropping the ball
- A warm, direct and persuasive communicator who can build rapport with artists and global brand leads alike
- Confident with Google Workspace, Excel and CRM or database tools
- Right to work in the UK
DESIRABLE
- Existing relationships in the London beauty industry across agents, salons and freelance artists
- Previous experience in talent booking, casting, agency-side coordination or production
- Familiarity with the festival and experiential events circuit
- A background in MUA, hair or beauty therapy
