Overview
This is a great opportunity for an experienced quality/technical professional to step into a hands-on leadership role with a growing food manufacturer. If you’re passionate about food safety, compliance, and being a part of something big, this could be the next step for you.
About You
- You’ve worked in a food manufacturing environment in a technical or quality leadership role.
- As Quality Manager, you know BRCGS and HACCP inside out, and you’re confident managing audits and ensuring compliance.
- You’re a natural team leader – approachable, decisive, and used to working cross-functionally.
- You can handle customer and third-party audits and know how to dig into issues and put them right.
- You hold relevant qualifications in food safety and quality (e.g. HACCP L3+, Food Safety, Food Science degree).
What will you be doing?
- Leading the technical and quality standards on site – the Quality Manager will be making sure everything meets standards and runs smoothly.
- Getting the site ready for audits and taking the lead when they happen.
- Supporting, developing and motivating a small QA team.
- Investigating complaints and non-conformances and driving action to improve.
- Working closely with production, NPD and commercial teams to maintain high standards across the board.
