Overview
This is a great opportunity for an experienced quality/technical professional to step into a hands‑on leadership role with a growing food manufacturer. If you’re passionate about food safety, compliance, and being a part of something big, this could be the next step for you.
About You
You’ve worked in a food manufacturing environment in a technical or quality leadership role. As Quality Manager, you know BRCGS and HACCP inside out, and you’re confident managing audits and ensuring compliance. You’re a natural team leader – approachable, decisive, and used to working cross‑functionally. You can handle customer and third‑party audits and know how to dig into issues and put them right. You hold relevant qualifications in food safety and quality (e.g. HACCP L3+, Food Safety, Food Science degree).
What will you be doing?
- Leading the technical and quality standards on site – the Quality Manager will be making sure everything meets standards and runs smoothly.
- Getting the site ready for audits and taking the lead when they happen.
- Supporting, developing and motivating a small QA team.
- Investigating complaints and non‑conformances and driving action to improve.
- Working closely with production, NPD and commercial teams to maintain high standards across the board.
