We are working with a well-established and growing food business who are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated NPD Assistant Manager to join their expanding team. Reporting into the NPD Controller, you will play a key role in supporting and overseeing the full product development lifecycle, from initial concept through to successful launch. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with a genuine passion for food, strong attention to detail and the confidence to take ownership of projects in a fast-paced environment. This opportunity would suit an experienced NPD Assistant or Junior NPD professional ready to take the next step in their career within a supportive and people-focused business.
The Role
- Support and manage NPD projects to ensure they remain on critical path and timelines are achieved.
- Act as a key point of contact for external customers, ensuring engagement and alignment throughout the development process.
- Support the implementation and continuous improvement of NPD processes and maintain accuracy.
- Support compliance with internal and external approval processes.
About You
- A degree in Food Science, Food Technology or a related discipline.
- Previous experience working within an NPD or product development environment.
- A hands-on, flexible approach and the ability to adapt in a fast-moving environment.
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as part of the role.
