An established food manufacturer is seeking an experienced Operations & Engineering Manager to lead site operations and engineering performance within a high‑volume manufacturing environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands‑on operations professional who thrives on the shop floor and is passionate about delivering safe, high‑quality, and cost‑effective manufacturing.

As the Operations and Engineering Manager, you will have proven management experience within food, drink or FMCG manufacturing. Demonstrated experience managing budgets, delivering cost reductions, and leading continuous improvement initiatives. The Operations Manager will be a practical, site‑based leader with a strong floor presence and the ability to engage and influence at all levels. A degree in Engineering or strong expertise in managing both operations and engineering teams is required.

As the Operations & Engineering Manager, you will report to the Factory General Manager, providing clear weekly and monthly KPI reporting on performance, cost, safety and compliance. You will lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers and operational leaders, building a strong culture of accountability, safety and continuous improvement. You will own delivery of the agreed production plan, ensuring targets are achieved within budget and to required quality, food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards. The Engineering Manager will act as a site ambassador for Health & Safety, ensuring full regulatory compliance and that all equipment and activities are carried out safely and efficiently.
