A dynamic and growing food manufacturer is looking for a skilled Technical Manager to lead and develop their technical department. As the business enters an exciting phase of growth, this role will be key in supporting the company’s journey toward achieving BRC accreditation. This is an ideal opportunity for a seasoned Technical Manager who thrives in a hands‑on role, ensuring the highest standards are maintained across the site.
What You’ll Be Doing
- As the Technical Manager you will report to the Head of Technical, providing updates on site performance, risks, and improvements.
- Managing, mentoring, and developing the QA team, building a strong food safety and quality culture.
- Driving compliance with UK food safety legislation and playing a key role in the implementation and maintenance of BRCGS standards.
- Leading customer complaint investigations and implementing effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Acting as the technical lead during audits, inspections, and regulatory visits.
