We are working with a wellāestablished and growing food business who are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated NPD Assistant to join their team. Reporting into the NPD Controller, you will play a key role in supporting the full product development lifecycle, from concept through to launch. This is a handsāon role suited to someone with a genuine passion for food, strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fastāpaced environment. This opportunity would suit an NPD Assistant or Junior NPD professional looking to develop their career within a supportive and peopleāfocused business.
The Role
- Liaising with external customers to ensure engagement and alignment throughout the development process.
- Supporting the implementation of product development processes and maintaining accurate documentation.
- Facilitating and participating in taste panels, benchmarking sessions and product quality reviews.
- Preparing samples for internal and customer presentations.
About You
- A degree in Food Science, Food Technology or a related discipline.
- Previous experience working within an NPD or product development environment.
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as part of the role.
- Organised and able to work at pace.
- A handsāon, flexible approach and the ability to adapt in a fastāmoving environment.
