Are you a senior Technical Project Manager with a strong background in delivery and a passion for leading complex software projects? Do you thrive in fast-paced environments, working across global teams to bring enterprise products to life? If so, this could be the ideal role for you.

As a Technical Project Manager, you will take full ownership of software project delivery, managing cross-functional teams based in the UK and internationally. You will work across the entire software development lifecycle, ensuring projects are delivered to time, budget and scope, while maintaining a clear focus on stakeholder satisfaction and business outcomes.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you will shape delivery approaches, manage risks and dependencies, and maintain strong communication between technical teams and business stakeholders.

  • Lead complex technical projects from discovery through to post-implementation support.
  • Define delivery plans, roadmaps and resource requirements for multiple concurrent projects.
  • Adapt delivery methods to suit project context, including Agile, Waterfall and hybrid approaches.
  • Manage budgets, track performance metrics and ensure project governance is followed.
  • Provide leadership and mentoring to team members and junior project managers.
  • Act as the key liaison between internal teams and client stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • 10 or more years' experience in technical project delivery.
  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and architecture.
  • Proven success delivering software projects with distributed and offshore teams.
  • Experience working with teams of 15 to 30 people across product-led environments.
  • Proficiency in JIRA, Confluence and Google Workspace.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.

Desirable:

  • Experience in the retail software or enterprise technology sector.
  • Exposure to programme-level or scaled delivery.
  • Qualifications in project and agile methodologies.
  • Additional language skills, particularly in European languages.
