Overview:
One of my clients, a globally recognised IT services and consulting firm, is seeking a Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) Technical Lead / Senior Developer to join their team in Leeds. This is an exciting opportunity to work on impactful digital transformation projects with a major player in the technology space.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the technical direction and implementation of SFMC projects, user stories, and epics.
- Design, debug, and analyse performance of SFMC solutions while documenting best practices.
- Develop custom solutions, integrations, and data migrations within the SFMC platform.
- Ensure high-quality and high-performance delivery of SFMC solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align marketing strategies with business goals.
- Mentor junior developers and share technical knowledge.
- Conduct impact assessments for critical enhancement requests and manage end-to-end delivery.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies such as PWA/MRT and Salesforce B2C.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proficiency in AMPscript, SQL, and integration with marketing/CRM systems.
- Hands-on experience with SFMC modules like Journey Builder, Email Studio, etc.
- Strong programming skills (Apex, Visualforce, HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Experience in data architecture and data modelling within SFMC.
- Salesforce certifications: Marketing Cloud Email Specialist, Administrator, and Consultant.
- Familiarity with tools like Infobip for SMS/email, Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD, SonarQube, Kubernetes, GitHub, and Terraform.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience with project management methodologies.
Desirable:
- Background in marketing technologies and Salesforce Admin.
- Experience integrating SFMC with other platforms.
