Role Overview:
As the Infrastructure Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company's IT infrastructure. You will ensure that systems, networks, and services operate efficiently, securely, and align with the business's goals. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will manage a small team, work closely with senior stakeholders, and drive technology improvements to support business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Infrastructure Strategy & Management: Develop and maintain a robust infrastructure strategy, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the IT infrastructure team, promoting a culture of collaboration and continuous development.
- Project Management: Oversee and deliver infrastructure projects, ensuring they meet business objectives, deadlines, and budgets.
- Cloud & On-Premise Solutions: Manage hybrid environments (cloud and on-premise), ensuring seamless integration and security.
- Network & Security Management: Monitor and manage network security protocols, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans.
- Vendor Management: Build strong relationships with third-party providers, ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
- Compliance & Governance: Ensure infrastructure policies align with regulatory requirements and best practices.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience as an Infrastructure Manager or similar leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure, VMware, Windows Server, Active Directory, and Office 365.
- Hands-on expertise in network management, security protocols, and disaster recovery planning.
- Demonstrated experience leading and mentoring technical teams.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects.
