We are looking for an exceptional problem solver with a background in data & integrations engineering to deliver HubSpot integration and custom development solutions for our clients.

You’ll be at the forefront of all the technical aspects of HubSpot deployment including:
- Migrations and integrations (e.g. with Sage, Microsoft Dynamics, custom systems)
- Custom-coded workflow solutions
- Building UI extensions (apps that add functionality within the HubSpot user interface)
You’ll have end-to-end visibility on projects as part of an open, collaborative team that values contributions from all team members, regardless of their role.
Your Responsibilities
Reporting to our Senior Project Manager, you’ll be responsible for the following:
- Deliver and maintain well-documented, complex end-to-end systems integrations projects and technical solutions, with a strong focus on HubSpot integrations and solutions
- Analyse client requirements and translate into solid technical deliverables
- Carry out extensive data mapping, configuration, testing, and implementation activities
- Write and test code to ensure compatibility, stability, and fault tolerance
- Configure plug-and-play integration apps
- Take the lead on acceptance testing and ensure related documentation is accurate and relevant
- Review code and solutions produced by other developers as part of the QA and deployment process
- Create and maintain cloud-based deployments, guaranteeing minimal downtime and issues
- Review existing internal and client solutions to recommend and deliver continuous improvements
- Troubleshoot any issues raised, adhering to SLAs and documenting resolution steps appropriately to build future resilience
- Represent the company at stakeholder meetings as a Subject Matter Expert, and confidently communicate with clients when required
- Work closely with project managers, developers, CRM specialists, and clients across both project and day-to-day work
- Internal housekeeping such as time tracking to ensure accurate billings
Training and Development
You will commit to a training plan which lays out your learning roadmap across the whole HubSpot platform (Marketing, Sales, and Service). You will commit to obtaining all relevant HubSpot certifications.
Requirements
Must-Have
- At least 2 years of advanced working experience with a major programming language (ideally Python)
- Experience deploying production software applications to cloud services (Google Cloud/Azure/AWS)
- 2+ years of experience handling complex systems integration projects, involving a diverse range of software/platforms and data structures.
- Experience working with SQL and relational database platforms (MSSQL, MySQL, Oracle, etc)
- Experience with ETL processes and data migration projects
- Exposure to front-end development with HTML/CSS/JavaScript
- Experience in using iPaaS platforms, such as Pipedream & Zapier
- Understanding of security best practices in API integrations, data handling, and authentication (e.g. OAuth, SSL, GDPR implications)
- Solid skills in document creation and management, with an emphasis on readability and conciseness
- Proficiency with Git and version control workflows
- Experience writing unit/integration tests
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services
- Well-developed understanding of the full software development lifecycle
- Exceptional issue identification, analysis and resolution skills
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, particularly with non-technical stakeholders
- A passion for problem-solving complex data-related problems

- Hands-on experience with HubSpot, including:
- Understanding of HubSpot’s CRM architecture, data model and limitations
- Experience with HubSpot CRM APIs and integration capabilities
- Workflow automations & custom-coded actions using Python or Node.js
- Development of HubSpot UI extensions with React
- Familiarity with custom object creation and configuration
- Knowledge of HubSpot CMS development - HubL and custom modules, themes and templates
- Direct development experience with other CRM systems
