Role Overview

This is a standalone role at the heart of our company-wide digital transformation. As a key driver of change, you will be responsible for overhauling our IT infrastructure, implementing innovative solutions, and ensuring our technology landscape supports and enhances every part of the business - from head office to our retail stores. Your mission is to deliver intuitive, effective, and secure IT solutions that streamline operations and empower our teams to work smarter, not harder.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technology Strategy & Planning
    • Audit current IT systems and assess future business needs.
    • Own and develop the company's IT and technology roadmap - including AI integration and innovation.
    • Create and maintain IT policies, governance frameworks, and best practices.
  • System Implementation & Project Management
    • Identify, plan, and implement new technology solutions across stores, field operations, and head office functions.
    • Manage end-to-end IT projects, ensuring delivery on time and within budget while achieving maximum ROI.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders and third parties to ensure high-quality service and innovation.
  • Software & Application Development
    • Lead or support the development of custom software, apps, and systems integrations to support company growth.
    • Take ownership of the EPOS system - manage vendor relationships, ensure system efficiency, and explore optimization opportunities.
  • Reporting, Insights & Efficiency
    • Automate data reporting (e.g., sales and margin reports) using existing platforms.
    • Eliminate unnecessary paper-based processes and promote digital-first solutions.
    • Monitor IT-related expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities across the business.
  • Infrastructure & Security
    • Maintain inventory and procurement of hardware and IT equipment.
    • Oversee system security, ensuring robust protection against internal and external threats.
    • Review and optimize in-store internet and phone systems for reliability and performance.
