Salary: £85,000 - £95,000 + Benefits and Bonus

Location: London (3 days a week onsite)

The Role:

As a Data Modeler, you will be responsible for designing and implementing data models to support complex data environments.

Your responsibilities:

  • Engage with other data modelers, data architects and data professionals to continually improve the data modelling landscape.
  • Governance and oversight of data models ensuring they conform to agreed principles and standards.
  • Supporting the delivery of change activity and ensuring that Business Domain Models meet the business needs.
  • Nurturing a data culture and promoting data model usage.
  • Assisting with implementing data models into the change and governance frameworks.
  • Building conceptual and logical data models that accurately represent data relationships.
  • Working with both technical and business teams to elicit requirements and understand the business.

Your Profile:

Essential skills/knowledge/experience:

  • Experience in Snowflake, DBT, Glue, Airflow.
  • Experience with AWS Services.
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to communicate with both business and technical colleagues at all levels.
  • Knowledge of SQL and Data Modeling.
  • Experience in data vault model.
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly.
  • Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
  • Software development experience.
  • Adept problem solver with a flair for logical and lateral thinking.
  • Experience of conceptual and logical data modelling.

Desirable skills/knowledge/experience:

  • Knowledge of Domain Driven Design (DDD) and DAMA.
  • Experience with data analytics, APIs, databases, and related technologies.
