Do you have outstanding organisational skills, a keen eye for detail and a passion for providing a great customer experience? We are currently on the lookout for a new member to join our VAT Department. Our VAT Support team is responsible for driving customer retention and upselling Group products and services, and a position has become available for someone to join the team.
About the Role
In this role, your duties would include:
- Checking Handovers from Sales to make sure all information is correct and clients are put on the correct VAT scheme.
- Following up with internal teams or clients directly to chase outstanding information to progress their application.
- Completing VAT applications via the HMRC website.
- Processing clients' business expenses and adding them onto their VAT returns.
- Creating Weekly/Monthly reports for management.
- Setting up Direct Debits to HMRC.
- General administration including maintaining digital customer records and managing in-house ticking system for the department.

Essential Skills
- Background of working in a fast-paced environment, ideally within an office.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organisation and time management skills, equally capable of working alone using own initiative or taking direction.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to comfortably prioritise tasks and cope with competing demands.
- Determination and motivation to achieve targets.
- Resilient and pro-active with a flexible approach to work.
- IT literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Comfortable working with numbers in large volume.
