Join our Payroll Team as a Payment Services Administrator on a 12-month fixed-term contract, where your attention to detail will help our customers - both PAYE and self-employed - get paid accurately and on time, every time. With multiple payment runs each week, this is a fast-paced role at the heart of what we do, making a real difference in people's lives.
About the Role
What you’ll do as a Payment Services Administrator:
- Managing and processing incoming submissions from clients, accurately entering the timesheet information on the payroll system ready for the next payment run
- Resolving queries with clients regarding their submissions and/or payments
- Administering ad-hoc payroll requests, such as retention, holiday, and VAT
- Processing advance payments, ensuring correct administration and recovery of funds
- Preparing and administering all aspects of daily payment runs, such as bank reconciliations, completing client checklists, payment run routines, and notifications
- Completing daily reporting and reconciliations for clients, HMRC, and the internal department

Essential Skills
- Experience working within a busy administration role processing high volumes of data entry
- Excellent accuracy, numeracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work to strict deadlines independently and as part of a team
- Experience working with Excel at a proficient level
- Ability to communicate effectively and confidently
