Our company is extremely value-led, currently located in a vibrant new office in co-working space in Central London with great communal areas, accessible transport links, and lots of great restaurants and bars located within walking distance. The company culture revolves around cooperation and working as a team but also having fun, so it is essential you enjoy working closely with others and value colleague relationships.

This role is to start ASAP but we would be happy to be flexible for the right candidate. Although the role is hybrid, we advise that the team is mainly office-based in Central London. We also go on a company trip at least once a year. We are happy to discuss total hours with the right candidate. Salary range is dependent on experience and we would be open to discussing this.

  • Cashflow forecasting, management, and analysis
  • Month-end close and reconciliations
  • Preparation of year-end accounts and corporation tax workings
  • Reviewing balance sheets and highlighting areas for discussion
  • Advising clients based on financial performance and tax position
  • Supporting junior team members with technical queries and development
  • Ensuring quality and timeliness of work meets high internal standards
  • Liaising directly with clients to obtain relevant information and provide clear, proactive communication
  • Providing ad-hoc advice on bookkeeping systems, tax, PAYE, VAT, and other finance-related queries
  • Identifying opportunities for additional services and improvements to client processes

This role requires someone who is not only technically sound but also client-focused, commercially aware, and able to build trusted relationships.

The ideal candidate will:
  • Be Qualified or part-qualified (ACCA, ACA or AAT)
  • Study Support provided for part-qualified (ACCA, ACA or AAT)
  • Have strong experience in preparing and interpreting P&L statements, with the ability to confidently explain performance and variances to clients

  • Feel confident interpreting financial information and advising clients based on what the numbers are showing
  • Be comfortable interacting with clients on a regular basis and guiding them through decision-making processes
  • Bring a structured approach and contribute to improving systems and workflows
  • Ideally have experience supporting or mentoring junior team members
Behaviours and Soft Skills
