Reporting to the Warehouse Lead / Inside Sales Manager, the Warehouse Technician supports day‑to‑day warehouse operations with a strong focus on preparing and testing In‑Situ environmental monitoring equipment.
The role combines core warehouse duties with hands‑on technical responsibility, ensuring instrumentation is tested, prepared and ready for customer deployment.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick, pack and dispatch orders accurately
- Book in deliveries and verify against purchase orders
- Maintain stock accuracy and warehouse organisation
- Load and unload goods safely
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Carry out functional testing of In‑Situ instrumentation (e. g., water quality sondes, telemetry equipment)
- Prepare, clean, assemble and configure equipment prior to dispatch
- Follow standard testing procedures and checklists
- Identify faults and escalate issues
- Label and log equipment accurately within internal systems
- Support calibration activities and maintain records
- Quality & Compliance
- Adhere to health and safety policies
- Ensure audit and compliance standards are met
- Maintain accurate documentation and traceability
