We’re partnering with a fast-growing healthtech company on a mission to transform primary care. Their platform supports hundreds of practices and millions of patients across Europe, helping teams spot risk earlier, act faster, and deliver care efficiently.
They’re looking for a Tech Lead who enjoys taking ownership of complex problems while helping guide a small team of engineers. This role is primarily hands-on, building and scaling backend systems, while also supporting the growth and delivery of a squad of engineers working on high-impact healthcare technology.
As a Tech Lead Engineer you will:
- Work closely with a team of four engineers, providing technical guidance and helping drive delivery while remaining hands-on in the code.
- Partner closely with Product, Design, and Data teams to solve meaningful problems and deliver impactful solutions.
- Help introduce and maintain best practices across testing, deployment, and observability.
- Ensure work moves forward at pace while maintaining high standards for reliability and performance.
Requirements:
- Strong backend engineering experience, ideally within high-growth startups or scale-ups.
- Expertise in Python, with some experience or exposure to Node.js.
- Experience working with cloud environments (AWS preferred), distributed systems, and infrastructure as code.
- A product mindset – you care about solving meaningful problems, not just writing code.
- Comfortable balancing speed with quality in a fast-moving environment.
