We are looking to strengthen their Android team with the addition of an Android Developer who takes pride in their craft. Android has the opportunity to become this business's most impactful platform. We are searching for a developer who has invested their career in Android Development, who will match the passion, energy and commitment to the platform.
You will be joining a successful business that has exceeded their targets for the last three years, this business is financially stable reaching profitability in their infancy, and continuing to grow every year. They are also backed by some of the top investors, you will work with experienced founders, who don’t rely on investment but appreciate the importance of investing in people and technology to continue to grow.
The Product you will be working on creates connections between people, leveraging the latest machine learning to enable beautifully designed Products informed by data across the world. This product is accessible in over 10 languages, and culturally tailored to multiple countries.
As an Android Developer, you will be joining at a time where there is still opportunity to carve out the future, including your role in a growing and ambitious business.

- You bring deep technical expertise in Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, concurrency (coroutines/flows), persistence (Room/Realm), architecture patterns (MVVM/MVI), and testing – and are motivated by solving challenging technical problems.
- You’re an Android advocate: you’ve launched apps, championed the platform internally, and are always looking for ways to improve the Android experience through self-learning and collaborating with the internal team.
- You thrive on building and evolving complex features, with a focus on performance, stability, and polish, not just UI on top.
- You have hands-on experience with consumer apps at scale, with attention to UI detail, animations, and data processing.
- You enjoy collaborating with a high-performing team, learning from technical leads and the CTO, and helping raise the bar across the platform.
